Welcome to Minotaur Barn...

Minotaur Barn is a small holding with chickens, geese and a flock of pedigree Cotswold sheep. It is situated in the heart of the Cotswolds in a beautiful location on the "Cotswold Way" with splendid views across the escarpment, and with many beautiful walks in the area.

Minotaur Barn is in easy reach of Cheltenham (there is a bus every hour) and nearby facilities include Cheltenham Racecourse, Lillybrook Golf Course and Cheltenham Town itself - famous for its festivals, cinemas, restaurants and theatres. Further afield are Sudeley Castle, Slad, the Forest of Dean, Cirencester, Gloucester, Stratford, Warwick, the River Severn, Tetbury, the Vale of Evesham, Bourton-on-the-Water and many more historic Cotswold villages.

The Accommodation

The accommodation comprises of a self-contained annex (containing the Green and Blue rooms) sleeping up to five adults (with an additional cot facility), en-suite shower and bath room with toilet, a lounge with integral mini kitchen and stable door to outside decking.

There is also a mobile home (sleeping six to eight) with mains water, electric heating, TV, shower and kitchen.

The Minotaur

The Minotaur overlooks the farm and was sculpted by a student at Cheltenham Art College (which won her overall first prize in her year). He is carved out of solid oak and weighs one ton. As much as we love him, we find it difficult to find the seven virgins he requires annually!
